There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Did the disappointment of Batman break your heart?

It's easy to pay money to go see a film in an established franchise like Batman. Spiderman, on the other hand, is starting fresh. Based on what I have seen it's hard for me to get excited enough to go to the theater for it.

Having said that, I will see it eventually on DVD. It's not like Spiderman is the 3rd film in a trilogy that I hated the first two of, with a director I dislike. Paying money to see it then, wouldn't make a lot of sense.

I honestly recommend seeing it in 3D and IMAX. IMAX at the bare minimum. It REALLY upped the enjoyment level for me. I don't think I would have had the same reaction had I seen it on DVD.

Agree. The practical web slinging made the movie for me, and that's worth seeing on the big screen. Expect you'll taste the corn more strongly if you wait for DVD.

I have yet to see it, either. Does it look cool? Yes. Have I heard nothing but good things about it? Yes. But I just haven't anticipated it like I was anticipating TDKR (and I wasn't disappointed by TDKR). One thing, I've never been the biggest Spider-Man fan. I do own some comics but I've never been a die hard collector. I'll either wait for it to be released on blu or catch it when it hits the dollar theater.

    web slinging 3D was awesome.

not sure what corn you specifically mean, but the

crane scene, and the scene on the roof with the police dad

i though were extra corny, and i loved em.

I was willing to let some of the corn slide -- especially the first thing you mention -- because the rest of the movie had built up goodwill. In a less immersive environment, where the effects had less wow, I might've been less forgiving.

It's a good Saturday afternoon popcorn flick.

Good pick. Both garfield and emma stone are young and this girl looks like she┬┤d fit the part.

I have had a fantasy since as long as I can remember of a girl using the "tiger" line on me. I think if one ever does, I'd probably be ready to marry her. :embar:

When speaking of pictures of Kirsten Dunst, the word "horrible" is redundant.

Not sure how I missed that. I think I saw the picture of Dunst and blacked out for a few posts.
