Dude was visibly plastered at the comic con panel. He stumbled in late, Andrew Garfield got up to give him a handshake. Instead, Ifans hugs him and might have licked his ear?? Andrew played it off and discretely wiped his ear dry. It was weird.

Anyways, the footage was pretty awesome. Emma Stone is a total hottie. Lizard looks badass. The director purposefully stated that he wouldn't call the movie "darker". Can't remember what words he used, maybe more serious or something.

And in this movie, based on the trailer, it looks like his parents were scientists who works on some high-tech stuff. Maybe Peter will find some of their leftover work/fabric and use it?

Maybe it changed over time? Now that you mention it, I remember that too. Comic continuity can be a mess.

You should see the Spider Man imitator that hangs out on Hollywood Blvd - stains on his suit, pot belly, looks almost as ridiculous as the guy in the Bruce Lee yellow jumpsuit.

Why does Spidey need suction cups on the sole of his shoes? Uppers looks like socks too.
And the yellow eyes makes him look sickly, like he has hepatitis or something.
