The BlazerSuit is old hat. We need Blazer(DB)Suit to stir things up. Anyone want to give it a try?

Manton did not invent the blazer suit. Hardie Amies, in his ABCs of Men's Fashion, originally published in 1965, described it, in his entry under Blazers, as a wardrobe staple of the Monte Carlo set - they would buy a suit comprised of a blazer and matching trousers for use when a regular suit was too formal and a sportcoat and odd trousers was too informal. All Manton did was make the brass buttons brown.

Manton is Crystal Gayle?

It's all you, mafoo.

Personally, I don't see the point. But maybe I can be argued out of my narrow-mindedness.

Eh, I don't really care either way. I like my stuff to be one way or another, not some weird hybrid.

Thanks. Examples (and link) of a slim-fitting RTW BlazerSuit?

It's like the iGent "11" on the amp dial. I am not sure you are ready.

I thought I was the unholy culmination of the iGent movement?

How iGent was this? Is the amp on distortion levels, or a mere 1-2?

http://www.styleforum.net/showthread...02#post1506502

EDIT: I just realized I forgot to unbutton my OCBD.

-1 point for no pocket square.

-1/2 point for non-grey pants.

You don't get any deductions for the buttoned-down OCBD. You just lose out on the special Mafoofan Bonus.

My competing version now being made rises above the discomfitting hybridization issues.

This is all too weird, the blazer suit is good. I've got a length of the LL blue brisa that I may have done the same way. Braised
