My parents house is sorta in the country so I drive on twisty roads quite often. It's hella fun, especially in a nice high performance vehicle

I used to love bicycling at high speeds through the deserted streets of Toronto in the wee hours when I was in my teens. 3 or 4 am, arcing long, graceful turns through empty 6-lane intersections, with no sound but the wind in my ears, and the sizzle of my tires on the pavement. It was even better when the roads were wet with rain.

Also, many of the roads in central Ontario, between the Kawarthas and the Muskokas. Too far south it's all straight, but HyWay 121, 144 and 169 were favourites for high speed driving at night, also the highway from Renfrew to Huntsville, through Algonquin park. Watch out for moose, and Cops though.

Don't really go up out that way but I'll have to check it out. I love new drives. The backway up to Crestline via 138 is a curve dream if you take it to/from the 15. I wouldn't recommend going fast on it unless you've done it a few times because some of the turns mean business. From Silverwood there's this one hairpin turn that is a complete blast if you get it right. Unless you're driving it during the summer on the weekends there's hardly ever any traffic.

I love the twisty back roads on a nice summer day or alternatively, on and off ramps. I take them agressively, but I don't speed or drive such that I'll put someone else in danger.
