Any tips for sun fading? Do you need to condition the shoes frequently?

I couldn’t tell you. These shoes are fading slowly on their own with normal wear. There are guys on the board who speed the process by putting the shoes in the window etc, but I’ve never tried that myself

Those are beautiful. How old are they? I love the wheeling on the welt... Totally changes the look of the shoe in a good way.

Yeah, I miss the option to add the Independence Collection touches. The Wheeled Welt makes a huge difference. I have been doing the Wheeled Welt on all of my MTO Rancourts as of late.

Completely agree!! It's an extra detail you think wouldn't matter, but in practice it makes the shoe just pop.

I suppose I could buy a wheeling tool and do my own...
