What does everyone think about the translucent mini-lug sole on the brown shell HM? That's what I ordered, but I'm on the fence and there is still time to switch to Danite.

The Rancourt shell boots (Blake and Porter) are heritage-style boots that have lines which are similar to those of the Higgins Mill, and both of the Rancourt boots have black lugged soles which look really nice. So I am gambling that the translucent lugs will work OK on the HM, if black lugs look fine on fairly similar Rancourt models. But I would be really grateful for the perspective of the community on this one.

TBH I think it will look good. I was going to go the translucent route on these but I couldn't get sizing 100% locked in.

When I saw the Stirling boots in person, I thought it looked pretty good. I have some concerns about whether it will age well in terms of fashion, but I think it will be fine...
