Cannot wait to get mine. It's 12 degrees Fahrenheit today in Minneapolis, and there is snow on the ground. Brown grain ECs would turn my thoughts on this weather from [IMG] to [IMG].

Maybe next time they can give priority to those in winter climates? Impractical, I'm sure, but tempting in a very selfish way.

What do you all think of this make up?

    Shaker Heights
All natural brown or brown cordovan, so no tweed
    Double JR sole
    Independence lining and insole
    Flat chili welt
    Wheeling and Fudging
    Medium transparent edge dressing

$725 for brown and $850 for natural brown

Did you go forward with the MTO?
Has anyone contacted Allison for just a leather change?

If one is going to have a topy or other sole protector installed, would the Independence or single JR soles be preferable in any way? Currently i have Independence soles specified in my trunk show MTO.

Is that a double dainite sole I see? Looks awesome. I personally wouldn't apply anything before wearing them.

First time poster here. Love the Brown & Navy EC's that you guys came up with. Not sure which one I would have gone for. Wish I wasn't so late to the party...

If the Eagle County goes on sale during black Friday sale you can MTO them at a reasonable price.

Wait, sale prices apply to MTOs? There's a whole world here I'm not understanding.

If I weren't concerned with wear on the sole, I might just go with a single leather, because I like the thinner look better. Or you could just go straight for the v-tread or tempest sole.

It's really up to AE's discretion. But yes, they have done it in the past. I got my Black Shell Harrison's and Cappuccino Shell Jeffersons at RDA prices. I believe that the recent GMTOs that took place during the RDA sale also got such discounts.
