Thanks @watchidiot for the work you are putting into this GMTO. It is very appreciated and potentially the start of something very nice for future GMTO's.

Not exactly. The grain on brown football are much larger and regular. Here it is

There is also also brown alpine grain which is used in the Sam Marco PTB

Then there is the brown grain calf 1040 that will be used for the GMTO. AE does not have a shoe in its line up that uses this grain leather, but it is similar to the chili grain used in the BB x AE MacNeil except that its brown. The grain is smaller and tighter than the 2 above Here is the pic I posted before. CHili is on the bottom row left, brown is bottom row middle. The EC brown grain will look awesome!!!

Not a fan of grain on boots that I intend to be able to wear formally. They look like a great make up though!

Also, can't believe we didn't think of a snuff suede option!

Everyone should throw in an extra $10 or $20 on their pair and thereby buy your pair for free for all the effort you have put into this.

+1 I'm down with that. Damn shame about the chilli scotchgrain though - somebody help save it!

Hopefully just as good as your shell Townley babies. Also another +1 on the effort and taking the lead!
