I'm sorry to hear that ebay doesn't always result in good experiences. In the last four or so months I have purchased my first pairs of pre owned footwear (Alden boots both times) and I had good experiences with buying and (I assume) the seller had a good experience. I paid, they shipped, I received and I am wearing. I've also had a number of positive (although not all were so) experiences on Craigslist and other online sites, both buying and selling. I only make these comments because the business model of these sites are great for people like us and I want to use them, but when people don't own up to their end of the bargain it's disappointing I'm sure.

And I know I don't post frequently, so you and others might be saying "who is this character", but I'm a long time listener and an infrequent caller. I will try to be a more active member, I sure do like Alden's, however where I live, it's really pretty harsh on them so I have to be a bit cautious when I wear them.

WTB Size 8 Barrie and I believe 8.5 in less large lasts. Snuff, Color 8, Reverse Chamois...Shoe, Chukka, Boot all good.

Both of the not so good experiences on Ebay, I was the seller and in both cases, people said they "didn't get what they ordered" and opened PP dispute. For those here who have bought from me, you guys know I deliver what I advertise, ship quickly and package well. I lost one PP dispute, and won the other.

Mack was frauded weeks ago by the very same trick. Seems like pp turns on sellers in a stupid way.
