Hey guys! Selling this pair of 986 LHS in 11D van last. Looking for 300 shipped OBO willing to trade for other Alden in 11D except saddle shoes (cuz I got some). They have a little loose thread on the strap but it does not effect anything structural. The box has a little water damage from a small spill (shoes were not inside during that time). Let me know if you have questions! Love em but moving on because I just purchased a ravello pair and I gotta make up the money from my stupid spending habits.

I should edit that sizing guide to note that in the toebox, it is similar to trubalance in that it is a fairly low toe box despite being relatively wide, so if you have a high volume forefoot, you may prefer to go up a width (rather than going up to TTS).

Okay, so TB half size down fits me very well but I do have a moderately high instep, so thinking 10D 379x? I wear Van TTS @ 10D, which is also a very good fit.

In general I would try same size as TB first, but if you can’t return or are worried about reselling, going TTS and maybe having to use a full cushion or thick boot sock might be ok, too.

I personally have found that I need to go up 1/2 width from my Barrie/TB size (unless it’s shell which is just a hair roomier), as going to TTS places the ball of my foot too far back.

I managed to secure some stupidly expensive custom orthotics today, that work with shoes!!!! Therefore, if anyone was considering buying the shoes I currently have listed here, tonights the night as all will go back into the closet tomorrow, I will be removing (if I can figure out how) my shoe listings tomorrow. I may list things in the future, but the ones currently listed will either be sold tonight, or gone tomorrow.

Well, the brown/leather saddle shoes sold. The other saddles are now off the table and no longer for sale (at this time). Here is the reason...Old orthotics heel and new orthotics heel, that couple of mm makes all the difference.
