Ok here goes - Selling my antique edge color 8 shell PTBs from Alden of Madison. 9E, Barrie last. Bought in April/May and worn outside my house maybe 3 times to my office. Great looking shoes, but I'm finally admitting that they'll never fit. Condition is very lightly worn. They do have some residue under the tongue from a tongue pad I tried to improve the fit. Haven't tried to remove it, but I'm sure it'll come off easy enough. Asking $550 OBO, shipped.

I'm new around here, but I've been on other forums and buying/selling on eBay for years with no issues. Feel free to reach out with any questions, additional pics etc. Thanks!

Bumping, will be out of town next week, hoping to get these in the mail to you today or tomorrow ;).

Open to reasonable offers. These Cigar shell boots deserve to be worn.

Today I offer something truly rare and exotic from the collection: my grail boots.

They are Brass-outfitted cigar boots from Alden that have terrific "cigarvello" tones in strong light. These should fade to Ravello with years of wear, which won't be a problem because they are boots that demand to be worn. These are my only exotic Alden boots, purchased originally from a reseller, and they are my grail boots as they do not ship with brass hardware. I had to send them away to the famous cobbler and community favorite, Aram, to install brass hardware for that extra panache and to perfect the aesthetic. This cost $200 to complete. The brass and cigar is the most wonderful pairing in my collection.

Makeup:
Alden exotic with brass hardware.
Leather:
Cigar Horween Shell Cordovan.
Last:
Grant
Size:
10.5D
Price: Forum price of $1050 shipped CONUS via PayPal Family&Friends or Venmo, final sale. Boots will be shipped priority, insured, and sent with signature confirmation.

Condition/Wears:
Excellent condition as depicted in pictures, worn 3-4~ as part of a very large boot collection, Always stored with boot trees. Boot trees NOT included. Boots haven't been worn this year. This run of cigar is exceptionally supple and comfortable.

I've sold shell Alden boots in this thread, but this will likely be my last sale now.

I've got a few pair of Alden that I recently sent off to LuxeSwap and are now on eBay. Any objections to plugging those here? These are ones that are out of my personal closet and not something like buying a bunch of random exotic shell from TSM to explicitly flip for a profit.

I will most welcome it if it were in an 8D ?

Well, there is a mix of 7.5 and 8.0. I've got three pair on LuxeSwap with @SpooPoker right now (plus a bunch of Vass) and another 4 or 5 should show up in the next couple of weeks.

Alden x @Epaulet captoe blucher (I think these were an "Atom" but I cannot recall for sure) in 7.5D. I bought these 4 or 5 years ago and wore them only a few times. I just don't really wear black too often so they really sat in the closet unworn for a long time.

Green suede LHS on Van last in size 8.0D. These were a pre-order that Unionmade ran and IIRC, they came in maybe 5 or 6 months before Unionmade sadly shut their doors. Great shoes and I love the color but when I want suede loafers, I found I still would always grab my snuff suede ones.

Color #8 shortwing boots that I believe I got from TSM in 7.5e. These are maybe 7 or 8 years old and I wore them quite a bit when they first came in but then I got my NST boots and they took over. There is still a lot of life left in these and though they were worn frequently, they were never abused. This is a classic make-up ready for a new home!

Brand New: Alden 986 LHS loafers in Color 8 Shell Cordovan.

Size: 8.5D in Van last

I got them on the recent Proconsul 20% off sale and they are half size too big.

First quality and only tried for 2 minutes in carpeted bedroom.

Price tag shows $772 retail.
Now $575 shipped....that’s $200 off retail.
