Just spent three hours having about threeventy million photos taken of us.

About to spend more than we ever should on lunch but IDGAF.

No AEs so spoilered.

I went to my local AE store today to drop off a pair for recrafting and to look at the trunk show samples.

All of the suede stuff looked awesome, and I forgot how nice the Janus suede is. Still won’t be getting anything unless they let me swap the elastic colors on the Liverpool.

I also saw that they had a new model in the store that wasn’t listed on their website, the Winstonmok. It was a suede GYW version of their Winston longwing sneaker with a split reverse welt on a Dainite sole. It was a much nicer looking shoe than the Williams that was released a few years back.

Now this is very exciting news to me. The Winston mom sounds like a winner. What colors were available?

Good news on the suede.

I’m a huge Liverpool fan so I planned to check out a couple pairs. Curious if in past years they allowed for people to choose the elastic color?

I mostly was looking at the chocolate brown and the olive so the brown doesn’t bother me all that much but just curious if it was offered in years prior.

Navy McAllisters today. I still have a hard time pairing these with my pants but I think they go well enough with grey.

When did AE offer these? I don't remember them at all.

I did notice the suede TS offerings are now a minimum of $495. Just 5 years ago they would have been $395 or less. Wow.

Midnight Navy collection in the mid twenty teens, I believe.

Mine don’t seem quite as dark as those stock photos. At least not in daylight or indoor lighting. I’ve been using black polish on them. Not only because I didn’t have any blue/navy polish when I bought them but also because I’d like them to have a darker tone than they currently present.

Hmm...maybe yours are custom?
