Oh come on man, no one will see the tongue, just like the Freeport.

I don't know about you, but I do tend to wear sneakers with shorts during the summer. The tongue will get full exposure during shorts season.

I think the idea is similar to selvedge denim with a rainbow ID. The small rainbow details are noticeable if you're one to pay attention to details, but it isn't so loud that people are going to see it from a mile away.

Does watermelon shell count as a pride shoe?

I’d recommend it fit correctly in the forefoot, maybe a bit tight on the vamp. You can have a bit of heel slip that goes away as the soles break in, but don’t settle for a sloppy heel. There’sa out of loafers lasts that don’t work for my feet.
Further complication: there can actually be quite a bit of variation in fit between same sized shoes of the same model. A 10D might fit like a 10C in another pair of the same size
Thanks. Love the loafer vibe but they've been a tough fit for me.

Happy Thursday forum pals. It is a Gridiron day. I wear these occasionally to make @JFWR regret not buying them when I messaged him urging to get this pair.

You have no idea how I sincerely do regret this. LOL. They're a really rugged and handsome shoe.

Yes, I do. That's why it is fun. :)

Question for the loafer experts: what is the best method of sizing loafers properly; do you count on some stretching of the leather over time when sizing? I tried on several pairs today at a store and was amazed (dismayed) by the variance in sizes. The Arezzo in lug soles fit snug at 10.5 while the Randolph loafers were crushing my feet even at that size. And E width is too wide for me.

Trying to avoid my most common mistake when buying shoes- I lean too snug and they never end up stretching much.
The best method is just being realistic. Does your foot shape resemble the shoe shape? I have spent quite a few dollars trying to make a wrong shaped shoe fit my foot.

Wake up y'all, the Prideside sneaker just dropped.

I have a 40 year old Polo shirt with a rainbow on the sleeve. I would wear at least 10 times each summer. Now when I wear it people make assumptions about me. Pride wasn’t a thing when I bought it. Do I still wear it? Yes, yes I do.

This is correct, I have enough sense to avoid the dress sneakers with dress pants epidemic that is sweeping the country. But yeah for some reason I just didn't really like the suede sneakers as muhc as I thought I would.

I try to spare my fellow enthusiasts with any sneaker pics, but figured I'd share these given the recent ask. I own 2 Courtside and 4 Porter. I much prefer the look of the Courts yet the feel and structure of the Porters. For the cost, I personally think you can find better options elsewhere, either ones that have cooler leather options or look better. I love CXL sneakers (and boots) for when I plan to run them into the ground. If I were picking a pair now, I'd look hard at Rancourt in CXL. If it is looks + price combo, I really like my Greats. They've held up way longer than I expected.

In the summer my job shifts to being super casual with lots of standing, walking, and getting messy. Most wear shorts; I tend to go with chinos, "dad" shirts (short sleeve button downs with cheesy patterns), and some type of casual shoe. Today it was these super cheap TS rejects that came via Ashley.
