Wondering if any of you have bought the bone white Strandmok bucks seen here-

The description has this weird entry: "due to vegetable tanning process, leather will age into a beautiful brown tone over time"

So the white shoes will turn brown?! Anyone see this happen with their pair? It's a big red-brown flag to me so not sure I will pull the trigger...
Three years and still a pale yellow.

I swear that I have seen a photo of these in a strongly patina’s state and they are indeed darker. I think even just leaving them in the bright sunlight will darken them.

My pair hasn’t changed much, but the issue is probably that I can’t wear it often enough due to too many shoes in the rotation.

Perfect, thanks. AE needs work on their color descriptions!
No, it’s just that they’re marketing towards people that are going to wear the same pair every day for those 3 years…not 15 times like @Shiner ‘s mortal enemy above

When that leather was announced they had a time lapse of the color change.

Happy plain toe Thursday forum pals. I hope all our shoe brothers in Florida rode out the storm with dry shoes and no damage.

I purchased a pair of these as a Park Avenue sneaker 3 yrs ago and wear them a lot during the Houston summers and they have Not changed colors or patina.

Do you ever condition/oil them? Do they realistically get long periods of sun time? (I don’t think walking a mile is enough in a day to really accumulate sun time quickly, for instance)

Love to see that time-lapse. I should be OK though - they are in heavy rotation for the spring & summer, nothing like a light pair of bucks to spruce up your summer wardrobe. Then into deep hibernation in a winter closet.

Did some digging through Google videos and wayback machine, but no joy. Sorry. I know at one point it was a splash screen video on the website, but I don’t know exactly when
