True story.

Took a drive to a Sally way far away that usually never delivers. But, expended all my resources locally so why not. Found a few fodder pieces enough to make up gas and time and was happy. Went to pay and the cash register was on top of the jewelry case. Started bullshitting with the cashier and saw an iPhone in the case, only cause I saw it light up after a text or something. Asked her if it was for sale and she said no, it was hers, she only keeps it there for the charger. I usually never would have looked. My eye caught a watch box with a $4.99 price tag on it (I peeled the sticker off from the top as you can see, I never thought it would be brag worthy) - from a very reputable store. I asked to see it, took 3 seconds and figured it would be an easy 50 bucks. Bought it, threw it in the trunk and didnt look at it for a week or so. Finally got it out to get a closer look and to my surprise.... well looky there.

You **** gold ingots don't you?

Amazing find for a well deserving individual!

Also is anyone donating/thrifting these days? The places near me are overflowing with merchandise and not taking donations any more!

$350 for vicuna in 1968? That coat would be a bargain in today's $. Amazing find.

So, one of my storage locker guys brings me a bag full of stuff, nothing too fantastic but workable. I get about 30 pieces, PPU $4. I was on the fence about this jacket because it had some wear, but I said **** if, for $4 even a $20 sale is fine.

Went through our check-in process and measurements etc, and when it got back to me for listing, I noticed this which I missed when I bought it from the guy, the neck was totally toast.

But ugh, Versace, a nice check, silk blend, all the right keywords, hard to let go but I said screw it, let it go. Decided to chuck it, maybe harvest the buttons but something said do a quick check since it was from a storage locker and not a thrift.
