So what gives with this suit on Amazon that claims to be discounted from $1,000 to $100?

I have serious doubts that it's the visual equal* of a $1,000 suit. But how good of a deal is it? It looks better than a $100 suit at Macy's, certainly.

*Good tailoring may certainly involve far more than what's seen by those around you, but short of an unlimited clothing budget, it makes more sense to weigh an item of clothing based on how it appears to others.

"Fabric designed in Italy" on the sleeve -- yes, but it was made in China. And, it's BLACK.

Buy one and post photos.

They've got a few others - this one is navy.

I'm curious as to what the actual value of the suit should be. Does it beat the $100 department store suit?
