Allow me to offer wishes for a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday to all forum members and their families.
When (and if) you enjoy some cranberries with your repast, think of this depiction from 1880.

The Timken is one of several museums in San Diego's Balboa Park. There is never an admission charge for this particular museum.

I'm glad there was a Thanksgiving thread here! It's an important occasion!

I've joined this forum in the last few months and wanted to thank very many of you for sharing your instructive thoughts on shoes, wallets. watches and a bit of life in general mixed in!

For the most part I've found participants polite and very enthused about the topic of stylish dressing. It's one of my favorite forums.

Sorry to be late with the wish, but overall it's not been a good week, although Tuesday my mother
did get the good news through XRAYS that both her hip and arm which were
broken nearly three months ago are healing to the doctor's satisfaction, so that she can increase
her physical therapy.

Yesterday I had my eyes examined. I was thrilled because even though
the doctor had a very "American" last name she looked to be of Japanese
descent! Actually I'm quite attracted to Asian women! Something you didn't know about me! And probably could care less, LOL!

But I wasn't thrilled at the news, that once again I'm "legally blind" and
will need a YAG Laser to correct the right eye and a cataract surgery on the
left eye!

Our beloved cat Jenny continues to fade away from liver failure and the only way I'm keeping her alive is forced feeding and watering with syringes. I wish I had an answer to get her eating on her own again.

2006 has been the worst year of my life and now I must try to find the
bright spots as we celebrate Thanksgiving Day. Certainly your friendship is one of them!

I made a chicken, cheese and stuffing casserole last night and just got home from sharing a meal of it with my mom in the nursing home. I also brought cranberry sauce and blueberry pie.

However you celebrated Thanksgiving I hope it met your hopes!

Hi Jerry,
Somehow, I missed your initial post in this thread. In typical Style Forum glee, some of us members want to forget the bumps in life's road that each of us inevitably suffers. An occasional reminder that with our many blessings come some challenges never hurts any of us. Thanks for your honest and valued participation in the Forum.
Kind regards,
FC
