Love a good nut loaf.
most "traditional" thanksgiving dinners seem to be quite vegetarian friendly anyways, the obvious exception is the turkey. The stuffing and gravy might be another, though my wife makes a nice non-meat stuffing (er, dressing).
Yeah, but the turkey and the ham is the main course basically.
but the turkey is usually the grossest part
Seriously an internet search or perusal of Serious Eats is the best bet. No idea what your going for, pretty much all sides on Thanksgiving are easy (and tasty courtesy of copious amounts of fat), its just doing a whole bunch at once where things get tricky. I mean you can pick anything and it'll go with turkey thanks to its lack of flavor. Just make whatever you like.
I bet you do.
In your house maybe. lol

Are you getting yourself spatchcocked by this guy?
You're the only guy who can spatchcock me, Matthew... (Or should it be the other way around, judging from our PayPal transfers?)
Think the family is making the usual stuff - rice, turkey, etc. I'm considering doing something with lamb, maybe a roast
I put my Judy bird in a plastic bag marked 'personal belongings' from an overnight trip I took to county jail as a youth. I've been saving it for something and this seems as good a reason as any. I hope Foodguy approves.
Just cut off the tip of my thumb in the kitchen. Blood was spilled on this vegetarian meal after all.
Please don't stop posting.
Schadenfreude. Is that what it is? If so it is unfortunate that it really isn't that bad. My girlfriend, the professional cook, made the mistake of enlisting my help in the kitchen.
