Look at our fashion sense today, 4 years ago, the French wear bowling shoes, now today, the Americans wear bowling shoes...just one of the many styles picked from the French runways....there are plenty of more, but the one thing that will not change in America is BLING, bling is in, always has been, always will be...Americans tend to be a little gauche, but that is our way...we do it to distinguish our manliness maybe, or just how we have advanced in life's little rat race, whatever....maybe it sounded a bit "tony", and maybe it was, but the truth does remain, what would we do without the French....the styles would be hideous, the food bland, and the champagne, not Champagne....oh and that little cuisine would not be around, "s-car-go"....so please understand, mean I am not, sarcastic maybe, but honest, always.

Just say, thanks Ernest.

(nightowl6261a @ 10 Dec. 2004, 8:19) but the one thing that will not change in America is BLING,
What does it mean?
BLING, it is a way of saying....maybe this will help "brillant, briller, et bijoux de fantaisie, ce expositions outre peut-être de l'peu distastefully"
