1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

I feel I've learned quite a bit (and come a long way) over the past 1+ of lurking and some posting. And while this may be embarrassing, I thought pictures would be better than words in expressing my appreciation for this site since I've found it. Mind you many of these before items could be 10+ years old, but it's still indicative of what I was still wearing pre-SF. [IMG] [IMG] The before and after suit/SC pictures will probably be more fun - but will also take more work and thus will probably not start until mid June. How much did you drop on shoes?

    Nice collection though!

Edit: Do I see Darlton wingtips and Sutor's next to them?

Not sure exactly --- but I'm happy with the prices I paid and still cheaper in the long run over what I had before. (Many of the KC made in Italy though!!) Still have the bug, and want some suede monks and G&G St. James II in Vintage Rioja next. Call it a pre-mid life crisis, but these should last me 10+ years and I'm just [IMG] [IMG] And yes to Darlton's but no to Sutor's. Wholecuts are Di Mella in espresso calf.
    Good stuff!

wow, that truly is night and day. Very impressive. I'm glad I found this site at age 21, so my pre-SF style is mainly sans dressing up at all. it is amazing the inspiration and drive this site gives u.

i like the range of shoes you picked up. you are well covered. If anything to add, i'd suggest a pair of saddles or white bucks for the summer.

It wasn't easy putting up those before pictures, but that's how grateful I am. [IMG] And yeah, suit/SC before and after should be fun. I just need the time, and to still learn to take better photos. And now that I've already announced it, I can't back down! [IMG] Here are some ties in the meantime. Thanks for the kind words everyone. [IMG] [IMG] EDIT: Additional new tie pics:
