This was always kind of a myth. Crocs are actaully probably less dangerous than flip-flops, which are killers. People have no respect for escalators. I watched a father letting his 2 year old and 4 year old chase each other down the moving walkway at an airport, again and again and again. He looked like the type who wouldn't take my comment well, so I just moved down and waited for my flight at the next gate. I couldn't bear to watch. (I work in the industry)

Actually UGG boots were huge in Australia in the 80s especially amongst Westies/Bogans/Bevans (depending on which state). Preferably matched with black jeans and ACDC shirt with a pack of Winnie Reds stuffed up a sleeve.

They are fantastic to wear at home in winter though.

Crocs were huge in Tokyo last year, hardly ever see them now.

I hope his pants get caught and a bloodbath ensues!

Don't get me wrong, I don't wish the kid any harm, but his mother should suffer that horrific ordeal so she'll learn how to manager her child.

I'm sure other shoes are just as dangerous. It just seemed that Crocs-related escalator incidents were all the rage on the news for a bit there.

Parents like that aggravate me. What was the father doing while his kids were doing their best to lose a toe?

There's only one adult who, IMO, has free reign to wear Crocs...and that is only because the food he makes is SO damn good....

They will not be able to go to college, but I feel it is a fair trade.
