1. I'd like to announce that animated avatars are now available again. You'll have to reload, but they are once more possible.

We've been doing a ton of work behind the scenes. The site load speed was already under 1/2 of what Huddler's was, on average, and we installed cloudflare, which means that the site should be even faster. A ton more will go on in the weeks and months to come, and some things will be more visibile, and some less.

    Cheers,

I agree. It was an average movie, that don't measure up to alien/aliens by any means other than effects.
But Aliens bar is pretty high. Aliens(2), ESB and The Matrix are imo best sci-fi movies ever made.
Pitch black was awesome too and fun to watch especially for the first time because it was a bit different that
most scifi movies i saw before. It's not in that 1st tier but I enjoyed it more than 90% of other sci-fi movies.
I can understand people saying, it was average, but terrible? Only if you despise sci-fi you are entitled
    to that opinion

Have ya seen JCVD? Great flick, make me actually kinda dig Van Damme again.

I've probably said it before, but I'll say again, Alien 3 was the best in the franchise IMO. Well, theatrical cut of Alien 3. The assembly edition had some pretty terrible scenes in it. I can see why they made them cut and reshoot a lot of scenes at the last minute.

How in the world is Uncle Buck considered a terrible movie? It's a classic.

The 3rd Rambo was terrible at best. Also it was kind of amusing to see how Talibs were pictured [IMG] Tbh I expected much less from Rambo4 but surprisingly it was perhaps 2nd best movie of the series.

But the third Rocky was awesome. Clubber Lang was the best opponent ever.

I usually start my "guilty pleasures" list with Joe vs. the Volcano, so kudos to the OP.

Let's Scare Jessica to Death (although IMO it belongs in an underrated classics thread more than this)

    Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins

Any George Romero film from before 1990

ah crap i confused rocky and rambo

I would add Peter Jackson's Braindead to that list, but I am a little torn on this one since a part of me thinks that movie was awesome

Not a terrible movie. In fact, kind of a cool flick.

Ran into Joel Grey at a party and gushed about his performance in this. He thought I was insane. Still threw a pass at me though.

I've used "You move like a pregnant Yak," as an insult.

    Love that movie.
