Congrats! :slayer: What have you learned?

Hey man, congrats for making it to the ten year mark as well.

From the top of my head, living in NYC while reading Styleforum opened my eyes to the finer things in life. I don't know if I would have ever escaped from the "designer" area of Macy's or Sak's without the aide of this forum. Like many of you, I went through a rapid accumulation phase and amassed more than enough shoes to keep me shod for a lifetime. I also accumulated a bunch of stuff that I never wear due to fit issues. I finally had the courage to purge a few very serviceable, lightly worn sweaters from J.Crew circa 2003 this past month.

To be honest, I still love clothes, but I have also come to the realization I cannot responsibly afford to buy the "best of the best," nor do I "need" Kiton/Brioni/Cucinelli in my daily life.

Congrats Norcal.

I enjoyed reading you comments about "What I have learned".

Aren't there a few more of you around? I seem to recall last year when Styleforum X10 was being put together that a fair number of names in the 10 year category came forward to post. I think Bradford is part of the 10+ club and, of course, J.
