    @poorsod great stuff! Love the belly on the fresco DB. What's the story on the Barbera fabric for the Formosa 3-piece? The reddish tie with it is a nice touch.

    I have a number of DBs from NSM and some have more belly than others. Not sure if it is because of the cloth, the cutter or a combination of the two.

    I found the cloth a couple years ago on EBay. It said Carlo Barbera for H Lesser on the selvedge and it was sold by Harrisons (Burley) so I figured it was probably genuine.

    Dionisio thinks he can cut a 3-piece for me in under 3.5m for non patterned cloth. I think I might test him on it because I have a few 3.5m lengths that I think would look good as a 3-piece.

    We've not emphasized pocket squares except as accessories thrown in, but without (necessarily) comment. Here are two nice ones from Christian Kimber that have the right summer palette

    Unfortunately, I not all of these ties are the ones selected above. Sorry about that. I'll add those over time.

    This exercise made me realised that I am not a particularly adventurous dresser... :confused:

    The first five sets of L/R photos are the same outfit. The rest are only just the v-zone (as the Japanese calls the chest area).

    Who needs adventurous when you have elegant? Still...pink and mustard...nice.

    @emptym

    Nice posts. Love the striped shantungs especially. Trying to figure out if I've been on the campus in the top pic, a nice, casual, professorial look.

    With @Mr. Six just working on completing the list from the original post, covering the previous posters who contributed to the thread.

    @Leaves
    @cezinho
    @jcmeyer
    @Academic2

    I'll think of others I'm sure, as will Mr. Six. PM either of us if we've forgotten you.

    That would be great, tchoy. Sorry we're in the wrong season for those of you in Australia.

    Tie pictures were taken via smartphone, and the colors aren't great. The jacket pictures are a better representation.

    Ten ties:

    [IMG]

    [IMG]

    Toss out the olive knit for ten...color isn't great for S/S
    [IMG]

    I don't have many S/S jackets since I don't wear a jacket daily in summer. I think I have only two jackets/suits that get worn exclusively S/S, but I'll try to be true to the theme

    Gray knit (Howard Yount) with a wool-linen jacket (also what I am wearing today
    [IMG]

    Same jacket, orange neat from Henry Carter
    [IMG]

    Raw silk Panta; suit is wool-linen
    [IMG]

    Linen YHNT. Same suit as above
    [IMG]

    Raw silk Conrad Wu. Wool-linen-silk jacket

    This thread is crazy. TweedyProf, that Eidos knitted tie is really excellent! I want that.
