i wear jeans pretty much every day. i find myself ending up in clubs and bars on weekends so i'd like to buy some more clothes but i dunno what to get... there's too much **** out there.

so i'd like some suggestions for a casual outfit. something i could wear out at night or during the day. specific links to pictures would be great.

i have like a slim-ish build and dark skin. i'm also on a budget, hopefully not a ridiculous one. you can tell me.

1) dark jeans: i don't want to spend a fortune on jeans, anything up to like $70 is ok. rigid levis 501s seem reasonable?

2) shoes to wear with said jeans. now this is the big one that i'm not sure on. i wear gray chucks normally. i would like shoes that work well with collared shirts, but there are too many options. black oxfords? brown loafers? black boots? wtf... i don't know. let's say i'll be willing to spend up to $170 on a pair of shoes, but say $120 on each for two.

3) shirts to wear with said jeans and shoes. i'll spend say $50 on a shirt max.

4) some kind of thin sweater. $60?

5) whatever you want to suggest

thanks for your help.

1. Have a look at overstock.com - they have some good deals on discontinued designer jean lines right now.

2. Personally I like a 'chunky' shoe that goes with jeans and more formal stuff but doesn't look too conservative. Can't go wrong with Doc Martins. There are also some cool penny loafers out there with a more casual style.

3. Again, see if there's anything you like on overstock. A Ben Sherman on sale is always a fine thing.

5. A casual sports coat that goes as well with jeans as more formal stuff is always good, imho.

Go straight to What Are You Wearing Right Now and browse. MC is for more business (suits, etc) while SW and D is more casual. Personally, I would look at Phat Guido, Robasaurus, Neofinita, and Get Smart for some inspiration. There are so many others that are great, but for a "casual" vibe these guys are great.
