Anyone?

Are these good tuxedo shirts or where should I look. Prefer something not too blousy..

I don't know about the slim-fit, but the regular fit golden fleece shirts are on the blousy side.

just buy whatever fits your neck and shoulder then spend $15 for a tailor to trim the sides/sleeves for the slim-fit effect.

Appreciate the feedback. These seem like a good price.

Thinking about going with the detachable collar. That is the "correct" way I believe.

I got the detachable collar and have had a ball trying out different sized and styles of collars with it (finally settled on a 2.5" wing, which while unusually high is not as uncomfortable as I thought it might be). I also like the **** in the front which makes it easier to fasten your studs when it's new (although from what I understand, you should have the bib kept starched to board-like stiffness when you have it washed), and the loop in the back through which you can thread your tie to keep it in place. There's also a tab at the bottom with button holes for fastening into the inside of your pants to keep it from riding up when you're sitting. All very cool features.

They are blousy. But no one will see it. So who cares? They are great value, relatively speaking, and have the correct details.

Where do you get the extra collars for it?

I got mine from www.vintageshirt.co.uk

There are other resources out there but I couldn't find anything in the US that had as many options - disposable, washable, size, style - and these guys were easy to work with. The collar that came with it was fine but I wanted to take advantage of the fact that it could be changed out and get something a little more unique.

They also have collars on the Brooks Brothers website, but they're charging $20 for those.

OK, dumb question..

When they give the sleeve measurement on these double cuff shirts.. that is with the cuffs folded back right? Not extended. I think so but I wanted to make sure because I saw some shirts on eBay that were like 16 x 38 or something crazy long.

Second, would you get double cuffs to fall longer, shorter, or same as barrel cuff?

With cuffs folded back.

I prefer it to be slightly longer than barrel cuff.
