Hi all,

Having just searched for fabric reweaving and had no luck, I wonder where all the posts about fabric repairs have gone. I never thought I (or whatever snagged the cuff) would do such damage to a suit... silly me.

Sooo, any suggestions for how to repair the tear? It's at the top of the cuff, about 3/4 of an inch, nearly perfectly vertical... argh.

Any suggestions?

Thanks and regards...

Find the best tailor you can and have him or her sew up the hole. If done well, it should be hardly noticeable.
If you want to go the reweaving route, you might try going to google and typing in reweaving and the name of your city.

But you're right -- the topic was definitely covered either here or on Ask Andy about 4-6 months ago.

French-American Reweaving on 57th Street in NYC is the best.
