Hi all,
Quality dress shoes with leather soles look great, but can be uncomfortable for high school teachers who do a fair amount of standing and walking throughout the day. To make matters worse, one of my biggest interests is running, specifically the 400 meter sprint event in track and field. What shoes runners wear when they aren't training affects performance, and unfortunately, leather soled dress shoes aren't a good choice for downtime. They don't absorb shock well, and that puts pressure on the joints in the feet and legs, possibly even the hips and lower back.
Well, gents, what do you think? Do you know of any dress shoes that are simultaneously elegant and easy on the feet? For reference, the only dress shoes I own are some leather soled AE staples like the Park Avenue.
Thanks in advance, all. Hope you have a great day!
