With the wool/linen blend, is this version of the Telegraph jacket suitable for the warmer months? And in your opinion, similar to a cotton blazer in casual-ness? I'm looking for a casual navy blazer to go with cotton chinos and such, wondering if this would fit the bill.

I noticed the pre-sale funding for the the Meridian jacket is now extended for another 19 days? Originally, the funding ended on Sunday night/ Monday and had reached over 100% Am I missing something?

Honestly, I wore the previous "Spring" birdseye (wool/cotton, I believe) to an East Coast-July wedding that was outside. It was hot, humid, and sunny. The suit held it's own well enough. I'd say the wool/linen version will do much better and I look forward to rocking it this summer.

As far as casualness... I mean, I did just say I wore it as a guest to a summer wedding. I've also worn it to work for customer meetings and been complimented on it.

They do that from time to time. I think the suede longwings from a while ago got extended after they should have closed (some other things too, but they're slipping my mind...maybe the Seavees?). If something is very popular and they can get their hands on the materials/production facility (or it's a collab and the other company is up for it) they will keep it open longer.

Just picked up a telegraph suit in olive. Have high hopes, but the price is so reasonable... First purchase from ts, so we'll see. Did stop by the sf store a while back while on vacation and the two guys there were nice.

Body length on the Telegraph jacket in L is 27.5"? That's a deal breaker. Jackets and shirts are cut too short.

@rnguy001 It's top of the line, for real. But being an employee yet active forum member, I also am here to help yah out. At the end of the day, t's pretty damn technical. As I imagine you're not a fella who had too much use for a 2nd pinky, it may be the same case w/ this jacket.

is the first fabric to combine the superior breathability, ventilation, and stretch of a soft shell with the waterproof performance of a hard shell. Google the Polartec NeoShell fabric and you'll see all the crazy science that I can't quite comprehend behind.

But do you really need that? Totally your call but there are cheaper jackets on the market that will probably serve you OK depending on the reasoning for purchasing.

Yea, much as I want to try and make it work, ultimately it's too short for me too.

I backed this one without doing much research on the technical side of the product. After reading that review, I may need to pick up some extreme hobbies to maximize the value of the jacket. Mostly I just purchased it as a nice looking rain jacket in a good color that would be well made. I spend a fair amount of time for work outdoors in the bay area so having a normal looking rain jacket is crucial. My current stuff is low quality or too bulky/fluffy to look good/appropriate in most cases. I've seen pics on the TS site but the product descriptions and reviews seem to be really hyping the technical appeal and performance in extreme conditions of this jacket. Not considering price, is this jacket kind of an absurd purchase for someone who's just in the market for a nice looking trim rain jacket of high quality? I would be using this for walking around in the rain, not heli-skiing.

@Medoc didn't mean to scare yah! I mean you can bet your bottom dollar it's better tailored than any outdoor brand and repairs are done free of charge for life... & on the bonus, you'll be ready for heli-skiing when the time comes. Walking around in the rain to a torrential downpour, you'll be in the clear.

Workshop makes it a steal for what the jacket is but lets not kid ourselves, it's not the cheapest thing out there. If you already have a rain jacket you love (which seems to be the case w/ @rnguy001 ) I just wanted to be candid.

I just received the California in Navy Jacquard Dot. I think I like the stitching on the inside more than the finished outside of the shirt! Can I wear it inside out?
Anyway, it is about to knock my Navy Rover jacket off the top of the TS list for me. Now to patiently wait for the Telegraph jacket and pants...
