1. I'd like to announce that animated avatars are now available again. You'll have to reload, but they are once more possible.

We've been doing a ton of work behind the scenes. The site load speed was already under 1/2 of what Huddler's was, on average, and we installed cloudflare, which means that the site should be even faster. A ton more will go on in the weeks and months to come, and some things will be more visibile, and some less.

    Cheers,

    Fok.

The deadline for the survey is this Sunday. That said, I appreciate everyone's fast response to the survey. I am going to run the survey batch in two segments, and hopefully have the first batch of coupon's out by this afternoon.

In terms of quality, I know that you were searching for an impartial response from a customer but I could not help but weigh in. While we have always strived to make the highest quality clothing, the quality of our goods is always improving. Especially consistency in fit. When we started this company five years ago, we were fresh out of college and none of us had a background in fashion or anything like that. We have learned everything on our own, sourced all of our production and materials.

Last year we set out on an ambitious path to release a new product ever week for 52 weeks and we did it.

That said, there were some small mistakes (a few big ones) and some inconsistency in fit. But we get better with every product. I've made most all of the mistakes there are to make, and learned a ton. I would say every piece is a little better than the one before. We know that we are not perfect and offer one of the most rock solid return policies out there. We will replace buttons, replace products and even offer returns on worn items that don't live up to your expectations. Please don't hesitate to give your feedback and help us grow in the right direction.

We will have a very limited restock of the khaki selvage in March. Unfortunately, we did not have as much of the khaki selvage left over as we thought. On 3/26 we have an excellent chunky but lightweight chambray trouser arriving and a bit later, one of the raddest lightweight indigo summer weight denims you have ever seen!

Wish I chimed in here earlier, but I just joined style forum. I had bought about 6 TS dress shirts 2011-2012 from TS - almost all at their Mission store. Eventually, all but one of these shirts had buttons fall off, threading come apart at the collar, and at the sleeve. Some of these I brought to the store for repair, some of these buttons I sewed on myself. Honestly, it just became a hassle, and decided not to purchase anymore TS shirts.

Of course, that was around the time I saw the Mission Reds Tee for sale in March 2013 - which I had to snap up - and even convinced a couple of friends to pick one up. I figured, its a tee, its low risk. When I got them in the mail - the thread was coming out at the neck! One of my friends had the same issue - and when he went to the store to replace it, had to go through about 4 pairs of shirts without any visible defects before he found one he could exchange.

I do think TS shirts look great, and their fit is great as well - but scared as heck about the QC. In fact I initially perused this thread to see if there was any possible interest for 4 x TS oxfords for sale (now repaired) , and felt compelled to share my story.

I guess why I'm still wary about TS, is I never got an answer as to what the issue was. Over email, and at the store, there was not much explanation other than some vague reference to inconsistencies and minor (I'm assuming production) issues (similar to what is mentioned above). But no specific details to make me think it has been resolved.

My experience is the exact opposite of this. Which doesn't negate your anecdote, but I've got a counter-one:

I bought my first TS shirt in 2012 - the navy mechanic shirt - and probably 10 since. TS 36 is the best-fitting off-the-rack shirt I've found and I quite literally wear one almost every day. I've had zero issues with buttons or stitches coming apart. None. The fabric & buttons are worlds better than most shirts and are really competitive at the price. The only issues I've noticed is some stitching that's not perfectly straight, etc, but no issues with the construction quality.

    My 2 cents.

This is more my experience. Bought my first TS shirt last spring, and I've picked up six or seven since. The fit's excellent for me (though I do wish the sleeves were somewhat longer to accommodate my monkey arms), and I've always been impressed with construction. I've had some issues with sizing their pants (was a 32 in one jean, 33 in another, and a 35 in the camp pant), but I think I saw that they're now posting individual measurements for each edition (I might be wrong). Point is, I personally have never had any construction complaints. Plus, their customer service really is the best I've come across.

PS - I have a couple of the indigo oxfords size 36 from last year that haven't seen much wear (awesome shirts, just too casual for work) - if anyone's interested, drop me a PM.
