It's pretty light. It has an ever so slight brush on it to soften it up but it isn't as heavy as our brushed cotton California's we launched late last year.

It is more of a dress weight.

I recall seeing that the khadi fabrics were going to be extremely limited and difficult to come by, but a shirt similarl (green, yellow or red perhaps?) to the blue striped khadi shirt would be quite welcome. That fabric is amazing.

I think someone had said that TS might do Khadi shirts twice a summer, but perhaps I imagined that.

Very excited about the 15oz Kuroki and the slubby Nisshinbo... Can't get the HEAVYHITTER discount code to work for the Kuroki, though.

Anyone have experience with Taylor Stitch denim's stretch? I'm going to get the Kuroki 15 oz., I have about a 31" waist. I wear size 30 Levi 514 pre-washed, I'm fairly certain these Kuroki's in 29 will snuggly fit me and be comfortable (listed as a 30.5" waist), but wondering whether I'll need to size down further to a 28. And I know that you can't really know for sure mill to mill, but thought I'd ask anyway.

^^ Okay, just decided to buy both a 28 and a 29, though still curious if anyone has experience with the stretch.

^I measure about a 35.5 waist and tried 34 and 33, and ultimately went with the 33. They started out as a very comfortable fit and there's been a little bit of stretch too. Wasn't tempted to try the 32s because I didn't want them to be too tight to start. Had that experience with some other denim and didn't feel the trouble was worth it. Be interested to hear how this works out for you.

What size do you need my man? There is a chance we may have one at the shop.

Not sure...38 or 40. I have a few 38 shirts. 2 Fit amazing and my Yosemite fits a bit more snug all of which are 38. But I take it those would be more popular sizes.

are the flannel lined denim items meant to be warmer than the previous iterations of those items? i would assume so because of the insulation but i wanted to check

They are definitely warmer versions. The denim isn't outrageously heavy though so they don't become too hot.
