What are you planning purchasing with your tax refund? Post pictures of what you actually do purchase! Who is gonna make the best purchases?

Thanks to the beauty of B&S forum, Amazon, eBay, and the weak British pound, I spent under $850

Still have a huge chunk of tax return left that will be spent on a watch, some more shirts, various spring/summer clothes, and *shocker* actually saved!

I'm only getting like $50 back from my tax return because I guess I filed it in a manner that gave me more per paycheck. I don't really know how it works. But I had to cash a bunch of bonds this week to pay for car repairs so I'm using the interest on the bonds to buy a Mister Freedom chambray!

You did it the 'right' way. Getting a tax return is basically getting paid back for the interest free loan you gave the US Government in the last year.

Knowing this, I still like to get a tax return every year, so I never changed my deductions.

With savings rates the way they are now, you're not really missing much.

Myself, I'm 1099, so I'll be paying Uncle Sam, not the other way around.
