I'd like to know more about the company quality-wise. I just purchased a really nice looking watch from eBay that was made by Tateossian. I can't afford a B&M, Tag Hauer, Rolex...etc. I'm starting my first year of college soon and still want to look decent. This watch seemed like a good buy. They seem to sell for about $300 and are sold at Neiman Marcus and the like. Does anyone know how good of quality their merchandise is? Here's the watch I bought if anyone is interested:

Thanks!

Looks like one of those fashion watches with generic Swiss movement and plastic casing, imo.

For $300, you could find a decent pre-owned watch. I suggest you take a peek at the sale section of timezone.com.

While I don't know anything about their watches, I do have a pair of their cufflinks that I like a lot and that always generate a lot of positive comment. (Essentially, they're small watches, styled after the old curvex Gruen model, that operate with a hearing aid battery and are fully functional.)

Don't buy a watch from a non-watch brand. As far as Tateossian London goes, I also have a few of theri cuff links and like them very much. they are widely available in HK and always goes on sale at the end of the season for up to 70% off.

I have these Tateossian cufflinks in SS with fiber optic inset (whatever that means) and I really like them. I'm not particularly fond of the RT links with watches, thermometers, compass... too gimmicky imo.

I love the functional RT cufflinks that are compass, clock, spinning world globe, thermometer, roulette wheel, etc. I have them all and only ever get compliments, esp. from females!

PS - how do you pronounce "Tateossian" pls?

I see their cufflinks at NMLC and on STP and, although I like some of the styles, I prefer double-sided cufflinks. Most, though not all, of what I see have toggle backs, but I keep watching for a nice pair of double-sided links. At NMLC and on STP, the prices seem very good, about $65 IIRC.

Edit: EL72, I like your cufflinks. They're understated, but stylish.
