i like flavored sparkling water now.

arrowhead is a good one. a glass of that is a great substitute for a soda.

i just need something to cut through the aftertastes of food sometimes. cleanse my palette.

and sparkling water does that without all the sugar and calories.
and it doesnt taste funky like diet sodas with all that phenylketonuriacs.

We picked up a 12 pack of Diet Cherry Chocolate Dr. Pepper. It's not as good as the vanilla version, IMO, but it's still pretty damn good.

I can't agree enough about the Jones soda, as a matter of fact, I just picked up some green apple. Have you tried the Blue Lemonade kind?

Vernor's is indeed tasty.

I almost always have a couple of Goya ginger beers in my fridge--mostly for dark'n'stormys, but I'll have one on its own on occasion.

Any ginger ale mixed with good cranberry or orange juice is delicious.

Faygo Peach. Only available (in Seattle) at Ezell's Fried Chicken and the convenience store down the street.

Ezell's fried chicken is also delicious. They make a perfect pair.

Not that exotic but my fav is Orange Crush. It reminds me of the orange soda McDonalds used to serve in the 80s.

San something-or-other (pellegrino) makes a chinotto soda that I enjoy. Chinotto is a weird bitter citrus fruit that serves as the basis of Campari, and the soda is like a Campari and Soda. Unfortunately, I find they made it a hair too sweet to balance the bitter. But it's still good and quite different.

No one named Cheerwine? I thought it was really tasty.

I've kept an eye out for "Mecca Cola" in my travels abroad but haven't yet found it.
