1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

At the risk of sounding like Drama from Entourage, how big are you calves? Mine are about 16.25, so I stay away from any pants with a 8.25 or 8.5 opening (8.5 is preferable)

The circumfrence of my calves are only about 15"-15.25". I have some pants with a 8" opening that are alright, but I probably would wanna stay between 8"-8.5". I think the 40" butt is the larger issue.

As an additional side question, I notice that when I sit down my pants always cinch up from the sides of my hips and above my crotch. This creates a bit of pocket flair when sitting and when my shirts are tucked-in, doesn't look all that sleek. Is this pretty much an inevitability that people try to minimize, or does the fit on my pants just suck?

Pants hem/cuff length of only 8.5"?

You must have small feet for that to look good. My minimum is at least an inch longer.

Ah, I see. Well, I wear a 9/9.5d in Allen Edmonds if that's helpful. 5'10.5" and 170lbs. I tend to like the look of smaller leg openings for whatever reason.

I wanted to resurrect this thread now that I am in the same position as the OP. After sorting through it, the best options seemed to be the Epaulet Rudy (not made anymore) or potentially the J crew slim fit. I was wondering if there are any new suggestions. The Epaulet rivet chino has a decent amount of leg room, but I feel could use an extra .25 or .5 inches on the thigh. Is there something out there that fits and looks like the Unis Gio that can accommodate a large thigh. Thanks

lol....Every guy thinks that he has "bigger than normal thighs from squats," but those numbers don't seem abnormally big at all. Unless you have unusual fit preferences, you should be able to find chinos that fit those numbers pretty easily. Just hit a few stores.
