Taper /straight

It seems there are differing views on this forum as to what is straight leg and what is tapered. Apc new standard for example : I would say its straight, even though its tapered in order to create the impression of a straight leg. So if i'm correct then what jeans are tapered ?

i think apc ns is "technically" tapered and people have comment to me about them looking "pegged".... though when I look in the mirror I see what is essentially a slim straight leg.

quick answer: they're tapered. if the knee and leg opening are the same, then they're straight.

If you want a true taper, look at the new cures or something like the thinn finns. Although the new standards are tapered ever so slightly, mind look slightly bootleg due to my honeycombs making my knee area pinch in

For a straight leg, the hem is the same size as the knee.

-smaller than the knee is tapered (i.e. pegged, slim, whatever...)
-bigger than the knee is boot.
