Why do you think we're all getting vaccinated? It's so he can find his next mate and spawn another trillion eggs.

Down days in the market mean zero in the long term for my long term investments, but those tendies with an expiry date? That gets my attention. The only long I'm worried about is PINS as that's an August call. It's down about 500 but I got 624 in tendies, so net green. I think I'll close it next day PINS sees a gain so I can get a good market for the option.

But bubble?

So this nugget is buried in the story, which was well written overall, but really just tells me that analysts determining earnings estimates were predicting a much tougher recovery from Covid on average than we have actually experienced, which doesn't surprise me all that much:

"While corporate earnings have historically been one of the biggest drivers of stock gains, in recent years support from the Federal Reserve and expansion of stock multiples have played more of a role in the market's rise." The question here is why are stock multiples expanding? Why are investors will to pay more for a dollar of earnings than they were in the past? Are those dollars less risky than the used to be somehow, and if so, doesn't than mean the equity risk premium is declining? If the equity risk premium is declining, doesn't that mean the expected return on stocks overall is declining, and if so, why are multiples expanding if the actual return one expects to earn from holding those stocks falling?

Article finishes with this quote:

“I don’t know that people are going to be willing to pay much more than what they already are for earnings,” Mr. Stritch said.

But I would have been asking that question months ago, maybe years. It still eludes me unless there is some massive structural shift going on with respect to risk tolerances and intertemporal choices (trading off present consumption for future consumption and how much compensation an investor or saver needs in order to defer consumption) that just makes existing models of how we make sense of risk and return wrong..

My ACAT transfer to M1 Finace completed a month ago.

So imagine my surprise when I just logged into Axos Bank (which took over my WiseBanyan robo-advisor) to grab some tax forms and found they are still reporting my full portfolio balance, including specific holdings.

They've even got the performance chart...apparently they earned me 3.42% in the month that I am 99% sure they have NOT been controlling my investments..

Oh yeah, and when I found that tax form, I realized I had already downloaded 1099s from them back in March where they provided me an Original and a Corrected version.

This time there was only 1 form available for download...this one doesn't match the March "Corrected" version and has been corrected yet again.

What a bunch of ******* hacks.

Makes my net worth on Personal Capital look really good!

Wait...not it doesn't...because this ****** bank's ability to sync with sites like PC/Mint broke like 2 years ago and still hasn't been fixed.
