I'm sure I'm not the only who's portfolio is at new highs.

I’m reaching new highs in the amount of cash I have in my taxable portfolio due to all of the options premiums being collected.

As mentioned I'm expanding my repertoire and this week created some diagonal debit call spreads. This is a generally bullish strategy. I highlighted my maximum loss. The only way I can incur this loss is if IBM is not at 136 on 4/23 and I do nothing else but let that call I bought expire and IBM falls to under 120. The chances of me doing nothing else, i.e. selling more ATM calls, and IBM being under 120 in July is 0%. My max profit, if it all unwinds on 4/23, is $319.

319/1281 = 24.9% ROI for two weeks. If it's under 136 on 4/23 I'll just sell calls weekly until expiration or the call I sold expires ITM.

Watching the original Wall Street from 1987. OCBD and classic business wear is timeless.

If I was going to be someone from that movie it would be Sir Larry.

Spread on DHI in place. I sold the 4/23 covered call for enough to reduce the long's cost basis by 7% and the short was a 20 delta so unlikely to get challenged. If it does a quick $210 for a two week investment.

Hello - new here,

Looking for option trading learning resources/tools. Any YouTube channel, website, book or podcast recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

I have no formal finance/business education-got a ME account with a few basic FANG shares that I’ve sat on since 2018, and I recently opened up a TDA account that I’ve been using to paper trade in ToS for now.

TIA
