I wasn't convinced that the market was ready to crash, but Petco just went public. Remember pets.com?

Poshmark went public today and is now worth about 1/5 eBay's market cap. For anyone who doesn't know, Poshmark is a used clothing marketplace that reported just under $200M in revenue for the first 3 quarters of 2020 with 28% year over year growth. How that translates to $8B in market cap is an exercise left for the reader.

That like the DoorDash valuation make no sense to me. I wonder if the bubble bursts it will impact everyone or just all these startups/IPOs. It doesn't seem like large companies that have continued to do well during COVID are overvalued (or at least at the same level all these guys are).

Anyway, I hope the startup you're at gives you lots of options you can cash before it all crashes for your sake. Just remember your ebros when the time comes.

The model uses the Market Sentiment Composite, a measure of investor sentiment. This metric tracks the mood of investors, which is then translated into a probability of the market's advancing or declining over the near term and over the next 12 months.

It is supposed to be a contrarian indicator that produces a bullish signal when market sentiment is overwhelmingly negative, and vice versa. The model’s methodology is undisclosed, and no statistical data is available to support the claim that the Composite value is an indicator for the 12-month forward return of the stock market. For example, Citigroup does not disclose the correlation coefficient used to measure the strength of the linear dependence between the Market Sentiment Composite and the 12-month forward return.

I chuckle every time the "value" of bitcoin goes up when compared to USD. The entire premise is built on distrust of the worlds financial system and you put all your trust is another website to hold your coins unless you go through whatever the hell cold storage or deep freeze is. Yes I will stay poor but I'd rather not buy into it.

I even have a nice hardware wallet to store my currency in...

Too bad I sold all of my Ethereum a few months ago at a modest profit. I got like 360 a coin...****'s at 1200 now.
