Went to sell my ether and my account is on a 48 hour hold because it has been so long since I logged in. It better not fall before then.

Isn't this all part of risk assumed in speculation especially with an unclassified investment (alternative investment)? I guess this can be considered liquidity risk. All this to make a quick buck when energy could've been spent on more productive means towards overall 'wealth'. Understandably the latter is easier said than done.

No, this is why I just bought with coin base. The problem is its security protocol. I have never used this device, so even with two factor authentication they require 48 hours.

Going to take a bath on my REITs as we get a new house and I transition those to International holdings. I've hated this asset class and felt it was better than having rental property. Both sucked and 5-figures mid-4 figures out the door on this...

You lost 5 figures in REITs in one year?

I did...although I think it has climbed back up to high 4-figures now.

But also as a non-homeowner, I've kept a large chunk of my Roth IRA in REIT Funds and residential REITs. Not as much as I would actually have in equity if I owned, but still a big chunk.
