You are the last person I would think would get into something like that, but hey what do I know.

I'm sure they'll bock at the fine. That's fowl.
I read about that. She was getting a really small amount every month. Her dad was like 85 when she was born and her mom was like 35.Speaking of FIRE, the last person receiving a US Civil War pension passed away. With all these pension funds needing a 10% return to stay solvent, do you think they are modeling paying out for 155 years?
I heard about this woman on a podcast a year or two ago and it has been a fun fact no one could believe.
No joke - i thought that if all went well, I’d be financially independent at retirement and go to work as a lot porter at a Porsche dealership. Just drive cars around all day (although the washing would be irritating)
Being an early investor in a pyramid scheme can work out well.I love how page one search results label in a pyramid scheme while we are all getting rich off it.
Met a guy once who retired and opened up a second hand bookstore. His collection was killer, as it should be as it was his library. His idea was that this way his wife wouldn’t object to him buying so many books and he had a place to store them to boot. The guy always just sat in the corner of his store in a really quiet town, reading and drinking tea.I seriously consider opening a coffee shop for retirement, I think that may drain my retirement faster however. Maybe I should just sit at one and read...

he had it figured out.
When I was a car runner at a VW dealership, they had separate guys for the washing. I just parked things.
Good feedback. So you’re saying I need a plan B. If I were a better track driver I’d try to instruct for PCA or something...I’ve done this job at a Toyota dealership Before graduating to salesman. It sucks. I can’t imagine it’d be any better with Porsche. You don’t get to do any type of fun driving. Just lots of nerve-wracking weird parking jobs.
Being a salesman would be better. You can take fun test drives.
