Kind of makes some cheesy claims in the middle.

Wages are sticky... Not held on place by an offensive lineman.

I don't think seeing wages drop in a unique situation that literally has businesses shut down and not operating (rather than just seeing orders slow in a normal recession) violates any sort of hard economic rule.

I'm surprised a lot of companies are cutting 401k match. I'd be livid. I rather take a 5% pay cut than lose my match.

You can't eat your 401k and when people see their checks slashed they will lose some motivation. Gotta think about that average person that works for your company.

Ya'll obviously don't work in an industry with a material portion of working poor. Day care and changes in the bus schedule impact the ability to work for many support staff in healthcare.

My company announced there would not be merit increases this year, even at the executive level. Strange thing is there were quite a few Form 4s a few weeks ago and I am expecting more to come.
