WTF is going on with SCTY?
Down 12% yesterday and up 17% today.
Sorry about that - I was just rebalancing my portfolio.
Geez. HFTs must have made mince meat out of you.
anybody use thinkorswim?
Well decided to pick up some more Fith Third Bancorp for a total of 638 shares... also picked up some Disney and Eli Lilly and Ensco, and sold my Masco and Aetna.
Even after all these years, I still never know when you're trolling.
Tesla down over 11%. Ouch.*
*disclaimer - I don't own any Tesla
Me either. I dumped mine and took the profit.
I may go in at 150 again.
Good man! I was thinking of you. Hey did the Tesla showroom close in downtown DC? Went looking for it yesterday at lunch but couldn't find it anywhere...
11th and K st I think? Not aware of a change.
Thanks - found it!
The salesman was actually very nice and informative... I was quite impressed with the whole experience!
My shares of the Vestas ADR (VWDRY) have really been killing it lately (and in the last year).
My original shares from 5 or so years ago are still below cost basis, but I bought many times as many shares back in 2012.
Need to sell some to take some gains and re-balance the portfolio which is now pretty overweight in foreign wind power stock...
Well my 401(k) just had a big hit. I got a new job with a competitor so the company match at my current job did/will not vest. Good thing though is I got a 6% bump in base pay with the possibility of 10% bonus which is nice. Since I am still pretty young (28), the match was just a small percentage of my overall portfolio. Should make it up in no time.
I know dat feel.
My prior employer's 401(k) benefits and matching were insane, but at a price -- hence, the vesting schedule.
I'm losing 60% of the matching I got. Also, my new employer, a startup, doesn't match 401(k) at all, which kinda sucks, but it's a career investment for me at this point.
But I did get a 15% bump in base pay and a not-insignificant signing bonus, so I guess that's nice.
