Thanks Federal reserve, always good to hear from you...
If you are paying a high watermark fee I don't really see a problem with that. Just make sure they beat market by more than the fee
2% management fee from some random guy at etrade is a different story. That said if I had money and could somehow get money with a fund like Renaissance Technologies I would probably gladly pay the 5/40+ whatever it is now
Global Copper prices have falled dramatically...best time to buy frm trafigura et al?

Especially annoying when that all seems like a rookie mistake.
Way to go, Janet.
Hey, bank stocks benefited. Not all bad
I'm more annoyed because I expected something sort of like this but didn't have it on.
it seems like overall this is good in the long term it is indicative of a sustained US recovery....
I think it's awfully difficult to attribute much of the rally in stocks in the past couple years to a strengthening US economy. Growth has been below trend yet SPs have been en fuego.
If the latter part of the rally is in large part due to ZIRP / easy money from every world central bank / crowding people out of safer assets, seems like you'll need a whole lotta sustained US recovery to pick up the slack when they turn the tap off.
I agree that the US is looking good. And they need to normalize policy and now is as good a time as any. But I don't think you'll get very far into that process without asset prices adjusting lower.
That's not a bad thing. It's just a thing.
The US may look good or at least better than it was but a lot of other countries are still in a rut. The US isn't going to buy the world out of it either.
glad i ditched boa for this.
deflating like flan in a cupboard today.
Getting burned by FB. Might need to do some of dat dollar cost averaging.
JPM has done well for me.
Do you know the reason it's corrected?
The market is taking out the froth, as CNBC likes to say.
I still believe in FB, like a lot, so I'm not fazed at all.
Watching my bank stocks retreat.
