GMCR is booming on the KO news of an investment. There must be "synergies" in this somehow. . .

Also who is speaking up about their TWTR holdings? I know there was talk about buying at different levels but can't remember if someone pulled the trigger or not.

Getting shredded with TWTR. It was priced for perfection, so I got what I paid for.

Jeremy Grantham's latest thoughts. Also depending on today's price action, I might add to my equity position.

I'm guessing you'll get a little of that back.

Not so sure. After earnings, I played with the app just to see what I got into, it has usability problems, the platform is very simple but somehow rather confusing to use. I think it could test its IPO opening price.

Lol... you were all up on Twitter without actually using it?

It's not like it is some industrial supplier where you can't experience their business first hand.

Not close to what you're down, of course, but at least you got a bit back today.

The real question is whether it's steady on from here or if today is more of a dead cat bounce coupled with a good day for the market. (Dead cat bounce is an exaggeration, obviously -- but you get the idea.)

My sour attitude seems to be effecting the market positively. Maybe I can patronize it into continuing upward.

I really don't know. They are profitable. They beat pretty comprehensively. These problems seem solvable, but do I want to wait this out? Probably not.

Today's rise was helpful, I am about 4% off break even. Perhaps I should have moved the shares but the market in general seems to have bounced from its short term bottom. It dropped 22%. 8% has climbed back. I can see another 4% recovered. I will hold out until Monday.

Lucky I didn't go in big here. I thought about it, and went into PCYC instead.

Is there an easy way to figure out cost basis? I sold some gifted stock last year and the cost basis shows up as N/A on my 1099-B. Should I ask my broker?

Unfortunately, your broker may not be able to help. As a general rule, you inherit the gifter's cost basis. Not to be morbid, but was the stock gifted to you by a family member who is still alive?
