    I'm printing that :)

Fuck Cramer. Hold that shit. I'm playing with mostly free shares at this point anyway. If and when this stock gets to late stage trials or even the approval process, it's going to be way above this level.

I get Cramer's position, its a risky play but I keep about 20% of my portfolio reserved for speculation.

Speaking of which, whatever happened to the guy who was on this thread pumping ACTC?? What a dog that's turning out to be.

Well if it's the house money and it's the speculative part of your portfolio, then by all means -- play on! :slayer:

Just looked up ACTC -- hmmm... I never touch any stock priced less than $10!!! Penny stocks scare me. Although I was talking to a friend yesterday who picked up 15,000 shares of $SIRI when it was priced at 5 and a half cents per share!!! (Which sounds like a lot at first but was only an $825 gamble, which is today worth over $57k). And now with Liberty ($LMCA) about to acquire $SIRI... things could get interesting! Anybody have any $SIRI?

TWTR seems to be stinking it up and SIRI was always weird...people on Seeking Alpha were always trying to pump that up when it was between $1-2 and it scared me.

Is Google Finance not working on mobile version now for portfolio view? Can't seem to view on my iPhone and it's a hassle to view via normal computer view

What do you guys use to track portfolios, might move it over to something else if this keeps up

I use the Portfolio feature on the Wall Street Journal site. It's provided by LikeAssets

Or you could shell out $1,600/month for Bloomberg.

    How about WikInvest?

Thinking about pulling my 401(k) out of the market right now and just holding cash..

I can see a correction coming very soon.

I think we're witnessing it currently. Honestly it needed a breather. This sort of thing seems to occur when you're looking around and wondering where the deals went.

Its a mini-move down, IMO. I picked up some more MA, it was down 24$ a share.

Personally, its not a concern, even if this is the big move down, its just a matter of letting it bottom and putting new money to work.

I agree with SG, the market does need a breath, but I don't believe we'll see more than another day or two of downward pressure.

Question gents? Is someone like Ron Paul and his Gold/Silver Mining Companies seem like good ideas for stocks?
I feel as a total noob, raw materials would be a good idea.

Anyone know if a market correction will have any impact on money market instruments? (How so?)

I read that investing in silver/ gold will probably only help you beat inflation and nothing else Idk anything about iron Africa or Sierra Leonne.

MM funds are driven by interest rates, and given that the Fed will continue to support interest rates, mm funds continue to remain unattractive.

That being said, I'd expect greater inflows into mm funds in the short term if people are worried about a correction.
