I thought this as well in high school but then went to midwest and you see a whole different world. Current roommate is from midwest and it's the same, they are glued to their TV and not in a good way. I wouldn't want cable myself as it's costing me $50 a month...it's been useful for a few games every once in a while on FSC but honestly I'd prefer to stream online or go to a bar


I know I shouldn't judge, because it's not like I'm using the time I spend not watching TV to actually better myself, but damn.

On a different note Apple is starting to look attractive, at least from a value standpoint.

I still think aapl is expensive and sells at a premium, there are simply too many ppl buying it on nothing outside of the previous recent performance.

At $700 yes, now I'm mixed although I'm beginning to want to sell some shares, maybe in January

Wow, brutal day in the market and I have a feeling that it's going to be more of the same unil the fiscal cliff details are worked out.
