Aren't those gains being taxed?
Taxed upon withdraw but given what we already have in their 529s, we were going to pay tax.

My soap box is, I do not care about paying taxes, it means I had some gains. I feel bad for the wealthy people around me as the only thing they have to talk about is taxes other than their boring day of going to the YMCA and trying complaining they didn't get a Senior discount.

Anyone trying to catch the CRWD falling knife?

Does any enterprise actually move off CRWD over last week's events? Plenty of security companies have had similar failings.

I don't know about security software providers but I know it's a huge PITA to change just about any accounting software or payroll provider. I would imagine changing from CRWD would also be a huge ordeal.

Broadcom is basically betting on the PITA factor in their acquisition of VMware. Acquire and jack-up prices 30-50%. What are large companies going to do?

Is the stock price downturn more about questions of liability/exposure, and not so much about losing clients?

Could lose out on potential client pipeline and they likely are assessing some amount of liability on incoming lawsuits.

Nikkei has entered the chat with a 12% drop…

Curious to see how this plays out, especially since it’s August and not all traders are there.

Just took July's dividends, and any cash available, and dropped into SPY just after open. Paid about 7.5% less than what it was three weeks ago.
