Here's a good read for us simple folk on the mechanism WSB used:

So what eventually brings this all down? People start getting greedy and cashing out, then everyone rushes to dump their shares? It’s at over 300 now, that’s gonna be crazy tempting for the people who bought at a fraction of that.

Well, I'm going to miss the 🚀🚀🚀🚀 on BB as my order was just filled at $22.50. I suppose a 25% return on a one day hold period is adequate.

And of course, at this point in the day, my accounts are down tens of thousands of dollars. Should have put it all in GME!

Yep. For those of us who missed the boat on Gamestop, there's always AMC...

edit: Nevermind, that one's already on a tear as well.

If anything is an indication we are in the midst of a bubble, it is this. It is a game of musical chairs and eventually, once the marginal investor wakes up and asks themselves what the fuck they are doing buying shares of a company like GME that cannot pay dividends and has no real growth prospects, the price will have to fall. I have no doubt those who were in early have made enormous amounts of money, but its a classic pump and dump scheme and the ones who got in last will lose their asses. One only hopes they aren't financing these purchases with debt.
One stock can be crazy and doesn’t mean it’s a bubble.

He's fucked. He won't be able to buy cigarettes for a couple of months if he loses out.
