Tales of thrifting heartbreak, despair and woe

one of my first posts was around finding two C&Js monkstraps and a pair of lobb lopez loafers in my size in almost new condition on the streets (litterally) of brooklyn for $10/pair.

What I failed to mention was that there were 6-8 empty shoe bags with names like weston, lobb and edward green. I asked about the shoes and apparently people had been buying them a pair at a time for the past week.

I don't know if this counts because it was at TK MAXX, but i found a beautiful pair of Picaro gloves made of the softest leather with a cashmere lining and in my size for $20, but to my dismay there was a tare in the leather.
